Zine Making
A zine (/ziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via photocopier. Zines are the product of either a single person or of a very small group, and are popularly photocopied into physical prints for circulation. Artist Scholars will learn the process of planning the flow and layout of their own zine, fabricate their own zine “dummy”, and create content through drawing, written word, collage, and other 2D mediums. Artist scholars will also contribute to a collaborative zine with their classmates and develop skills in idea sharing and concept development in a group/working as a team.
Hip-Hop Theater
Welcome to the world of HIP-HOP THEATER where the powerful and exciting energy of HIP-HOP connects with the art of acting on stage and in movies! Students will immediately be empowered to explore all the characters, emotions, vocabulary, skills, dialogue, drama, comedy, and all the art forms that can be created to bring their stories and imagination to life! We will teach them the classic lessons of becoming and actor or actress as well as the different elements of hip hop culture and work toward creating their own show or movie to present to the world!
Beat Making
By the end of this course, students will be able to teach and make their own projects based on the basic concepts of the Arts and Technology! They will have a fundamental understanding of creating and learning more complex Audio Production Techniques. Our AP(Audio Production) students will learn how to record and operate professional recording software. Students will come away with a greater knowledge of how to be creative, innovative, and confident that they can accomplish any goal or dream they put their mind to.

Capoeira Music and Movement
This class may combine aspects of dance, martial arts, yoga, Pilates, breakdance and other movement arts where one will explore conversational movements of self-expression, as well as playing music of the Roda.
EMCEE 101
ENTER the world of Hip Hop with the super element of EMCEE'N aka Rappin ! The power of the words, poetry , creative writing and spitting BARS ! This high energy class will be filled with beats and rhymes from old school styles to the newest wordplay and styles of all types ! Students of this sacred element will learn how take their emotions and thoughts and form them into powerful songs over dope beats or acapella and will be encouraged to find the power in their voice and begin the journey of become an EMCEE and join and innovate our hip hop culture with their original rhymes!
Coding Music
Coding Music will demonstrate and teach a basic form of Computer Science called Syntax.
