The People's Conservatory 2019 KOLA Give Thanks Campaign

In December 2019, The People’s Conservatory (TPC), in collaboration with Grammy Nominated artist Mystic, SFJAZZ Collective member Martin Luther, Kev Choice, Jennifer Johns, RyanNicole, and the OSA Concert Choir will premiere KOLA which features over 200+ performers. KOLA will have an eight-show run from December 12-15 and December 19-22 at Castlemont High School in Oakland California.

 

This multidisciplinary theater piece, created, produced, and performed by TPC students, spotlights a new “Nutcracker” narrative that expresses the lived experiences of young Black and Brown youth in Oakland and how they will create a more harmonious world.

 

To ensure access to this unique programming, we are asking local businesses and community members to join our 2019 Give Thanks KOLA Campaign running November 12 – December 2 (Giving Tuesday).

Your business’s TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation of $1500 will provide 50 students tickets and t-shirts. To
GIVE THANKS for these donations, the first FOUR businesses to donate $1500 will have their logo hand
painted on our mural banner (11’ X 7’), displayed for SIX WEEKS on MacArthur Blvd with a potential reach
of 42,000. Also, all businesses donating at this level will receive EIGHT tickets to the VIP Opening Night
Champagne Reception on December 12, 2019 and your business name will be included in the KOLA
program as a Gold Patron.


Your business’s TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation of $500, $300, $200 or $100 will help secure theater rental and fund set design and costume costs. 

 

To GIVE THANKS for these donations:

All businesses donating $500 will receive a FULL-PAGE program ad with a potential reach of 6,400,
FOUR tickets to the VIP Opening Night Champagne Reception on December 12, 2019 and your business
name will be included in the KOLA program as a Silver Contributor.
All businesses donating $300 will receive a HALF-PAGE program ad with a potential reach of 6,400,
TWO tickets to the VIP Opening Night Champagne Reception on December 12, 2019 and your business
name will be included in the KOLA program as a Bronze Friend.
All business donating $200 will receive a QUARTER-PAGE program ad with a potential reach of 6,400
and ONE ticket to the VIP Opening Night Champagne Reception on December 12, 2019.
All business donating $100 will have their business name listed as a Business Supporter in the program.
